Sailing the Island

There is a whole world of sailing to be discovered around the fascinating island of Sicily. As the largest island in the Mediterranean Sicily is surrounded by a number of small archipelagos. These unspoilt islands rising from crystal clear waters offer a magnificent sailing experience. This is without doubt the most relaxing way to escape the bustling crowds, enjoy spectacular rugged coastlines, explore quiet hidden beaches and gaze at amazing romantic sunsets. We use a number of carefully chosen operators to give you maximum flexibility so whether you choose a one day excursion, weekend or 7 day trip or whether you are a party of 2 or 10 we will be delighted to arrange a sailing holiday to suit your individual requirements.

For experienced sailors boats can be hired without crew. This option will grant you complete freedom and flexibility to set your own itinerary and explore the tranquil islands around Sicily at your own pace. To hire your own boat your party will be required to consist of at least one member holding a full skipper’s licence plus one other experienced and competent crew member.

For the less experienced but enthusiastic sailors a crewed boat is the perfect choice leaving you free to relax and enjoy the delights that a holiday on the sea can offer. No sailing qualifications are required however a safe regard for the sea is essential. This option allows you the freedom to plan your own itinerary with the guidance of an expert skipper. The hire of these boats can be arranged with or without a full on-board catering service.
